This Cancellation Policy explains the rules and timelines for canceling shipping requests or related services placed through the BabaExpress platform.
We aim to provide flexible logistics services, while minimizing disruption to our delivery network and partners.
- Shipment Cancellation
Sellers may cancel a shipment under the following conditions:
Stage | Cancellation Allowed? | Charges |
Label generated, but not picked up | ✅ Yes | No charges if canceled before pickup request is raised |
Pickup request raised, but not attempted | ✅ Yes | A nominal cancellation fee may apply |
Pickup attempted / in-transit | ❌ No | Shipment cannot be canceled once picked up |
Delivered | ❌ No | Cannot be canceled after successful delivery |
- First Mile Pickup Cancellation
If you opt for First Mile Pickup:
- Cancellation before pickup window: ✅ Free
- Cancellation after dispatching delivery agent: ⚠️ ₹30–₹50 cancellation fee (varies by courier)
- Subscription/Service Plan Cancellation
For any premium plans or value-added services:
- You may cancel your plan within 7 days of purchase, provided no services (like label generation or COD remittance) have been utilized.
- Once used, the plan is non-refundable and non-cancellable.
- How to Cancel a Shipment or Service
To request cancellation:
- Log in to your BabaExpress seller panel.
- Go to Orders → Select the order → Click Cancel Shipment.
- Or, email us at support@babaexpress.in with the subject: Cancellation Request – [Shipment ID].
We’ll confirm cancellation via email within 24–48 business hours.
- Refund on Cancellation
- For eligible cancellations, prepaid shipping charges will be refunded as wallet credit.
- Refunds to bank accounts (for large value cancellations) may take up to 7 business days.
- BabaExpress Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel any shipment or service under the following conditions:
- Incomplete or invalid shipment information
- Non-compliance with courier packaging guidelines
- Breach of BabaExpress terms & conditions
- Suspicious or fraudulent activities
